  3. Our first voyage into a cousin of the Mandelbrot Set, namely the Cube Mandelbrot
  4. Set.  This fractal is calculated with the formula Z^3 + Z (instead of Z^2 + Z
  5. for the ordinary familiar Mandelbrot Set).

  7. All originals are 768x480 24-bit, rendered at count 16384 (reduced afer 
  8. rendering for enhanced coloring).  The deepest images here are shown with
  9. 1024 colors.

  11. The Cube Mandelbrot Set has its own shape, but some similarities appear
  12. as you explore and delve into it by successive zooms like we see in this
  13. series.

  15. The total magnification from P00 to P15 is 50 trillion!
